Orthodoxy does not promote the praise and/or worship of saints or their icons. We celebrate their sacrifices, struggles and faith in the one true God - Our Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Orthodoxy incorporates their stories into our daily lives as a source of inspiration, for the saints we rever, were common people just like you and me, who were sinners, fornicators, murders, drunkards, thieves and much worse - yet, overcame their sinful ways, confessed, repented and where granted the peace and strength to live a pure and faithful life of service in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Their lives showcase God's love for all mankind equally. Learn more about The Reverance of Saints.
